Dr Rado founded Psychologia Ltd. in 2011 with the aim of providing specialist neuropsychology services to people with brain injuries. Dr Rado is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and a Full Member of the British Psychological Society's Division of Clinical Psychology and Division of Neuropsychology. She is an accredited Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
With over twenty five years of clinical experience, she has acquired a wealth of knowledge and expertise during this time and has formed strong therapeutic relationships by placing her clients, their values and their goals at the centre of their rehabilitation. Dr Rado is highly regarded and well recognised as one of the leading providers of neuropsychological rehabilitation, primarily focusing her expertise in supporting clients who have experienced a catastrophic traumatic brain injury as part of ongoing neurorehabilitation delivered via medico-legal personal injury and clinical negligence claims. She works adeptly with professional systems around a client and their family, using an empowerment and values-based approach to understanding complex issues surrounding client's well-being and engagement in rehabilitation, to the benefit of ongoing multidisciplinary working.
Dr Rado recognises the challenging experiences that families can often face after a loved one has experienced a life changing brain injury. This involves not only grief, loss, change and adjustment, but also the adaptation to a new way of life, a new way of doing things and more often than not, a raft of new professionals involved in the day-to-day life of a family's functioning. This can be a difficult time for many reasons, and Dr Rado has developed a specialism in working with families and clients in a compassionate and client-focused manner to support them in this process.
Dr Rado also has an interest in developing innovative ways of working and translating theory into practice to help people with brain injury make the best possible recovery. She is recognised as an empathetic, approachable and knowledgeable clinician who skillfully works in a collaborative manner to empower clients from a holistic perspective with the goal of regaining maximal independence and return to a meaningful life following acquired brain injury.
